In order to not miss any important calls, you may want to consider setting up your voicemail. It is fairly simple to do, and this article covers everything you need to know about your voicemail.
Faculty, Staff and students in dorms other than those listed below:

If your extension is not the main number in the room:
Press "G" to Record a New Greeting
There are a couple options:
Press "L" to Listen to Your Greeting
From here, you can listen to the greeting that anyone sent to your Voicemail hears.
Press "R" to Record a New Greeting
The voice will prompt you to start recording your message. Once you are finished, you can:
Press "R" to Review Your Greeting
From here, you can listen to the greeting you just recorded, to determine if you want to keep it.
Press "D" to Discard Your Greeting and Try Again
From here, you can delete the greeting you had just recorded. You will be prompted to try again.
Press "A" to Append to Your Greeting
From here, you can add on to the greeting you had recorded, in case you were not given enough time, or you want to add more information.
Press "X" to Save Your Greeting
This will save the greeting you had just recorded, you will not be able to get the old recording back.
Press "X" to Exit
Pressing X will send you back to your Voicemail's main menu.
Press "N" to List a New Name
The name associated with your phone number is the same name that appears to others whenever you call an on campus extension. Press this button, and speak into the phone to change the display name, and since it converts speech to text, make sure to enunciate.
Press "P" to Change your passcode
You can change your passcode with this option, the passcode is the secret number that keeps your Voicemail safe. Choose a number that you can remember.
Press "L" to Change Distribution List
Press "C" for Call schedule options
Press "T" to Access a Tutorial
The tutorial takes you through a set of steps to set up your Voicemailbox, greeting, and will record your name.
Press X to Exit User Options
This will take you back to the main Voicemail menu.
Please fill out a ticket with the IT Support Center and make sure that you include your extension and office location with a description of your problem.
