Deactivating Your Lost or Stolen OneCard

Losing your OneCard is a hassle, so try your best not to give it out to people you do not know, and to not lose it.  If you do lose it, please follow these instructions for deactivating your OneCard. 

If your St. Mary’s College of Maryland OneCard is lost or stolen, you should deactivate your account immediately.  If you believe that your OneCard has been stolen, you should report it to Public Safety (x4911).  You are responsible for the charges on your card until it is reported missing.  You may deactivate your account in the following manners:

  • Visit, or call (240-895-4357) the Informational Technology Support Desk between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
  • Visit, or call (240-895-4911) Public Safety after 5:00pm daily, weekends, and holidays.
  • Deactivate your OneCard through the portal, instructions are found below.
  1. Log onto your Portal Account.
  2. Click on the My Student Account tab.
  3. Click the Account Management link in the navigation pane to the left.
  4. Click on OneCard Account Management.
  5. Click on Activate/Deactivate Card.
  6. Select Deactivate my OneCard from the drop down menu.
  7. Click Click to Deactivate, and follow the instructions sent to you via email.

Replacement cards may be purchased for $25.00 between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
